What is this "Telepresence Demo" thing I heard about? |

We have one of our Desktop Rover miniature tracked vehicles installed
in our Lab. The radio control transmitter is plugged into a computer
running our Telecommander Software.
This Java based Web Demo allows you to send LIVE commands to the
Desktop Rover over TCP/IP internet connections. The final control is by
wireless R/C. You will find out more when you get there.
Your mission - Explore the surface of Mars!
Begin your adventure by entering the Plantraco Fun Zone
Then click on the Telecommander link and follow the directions!
The demo is running 24 hours a day. Note that during working hours, we will have someone present to make sure the Rover stays within view - at night, the demo will run until someone flips the Desktop Rover over, or some other calamity puts the Rover our of commission! Drive carefully during nightime hours so that everyone can have a chance!
