STATE
OF THE ART PERFORMANCE & DESIGN
 The illustration below shows how much smaller
the Microblimp is as compared to our Tri-Turbofan
model. It is about half the size, quarter the
volume and twice the fun! Even smaller balloon
size is possible if you use a standard latex balloon.
At
only 20 inches across, the Microblimp is about half the
size of our previous models! You will be zooming around
in the smallest of rooms! The gondola weight of 10
- 12 grams (depending on configuration) is actually less
than the weight of our previous model’s battery!
The transmitter fits the hand well at only 3.5" X 5" X
1". Miniature gimballed joysticks and Plantraco’s
rock solid 900Mhz digital R/C system give you the
satisfaction of Precision Full Proportional
control. Experienced R/C aircraft pilots will
appreciate the two user selectable mixing modes which
enable you to fly your blimp like an "airplane" or in
the classic "blimp" mode. The Microblimp makes a great
R/C airplane trainer - it is a super training tool to
put your mind in the cockpit.

All you need to
fly is an inexpensive helium tank and batteries
available from most "Mart" stores. You can also get
quick "fill" of helium gas from a local flower shop,
party store, or anywhere helium balloons are sold. The
Microblimp gondola is attached to the balloon with
velcro or cellophane tape. Some Extra weight is added
for "Ballast" so that neutral buoyancy is achieved - The
airship neither rises nor falls, it simply hovers on its
own in mid air! |
